Williams, an EVP in the Los Angeles office of Cushman & Wakefield, is a former practicing attorney who is consistently among the firm's top producers, having been its No. 3broker in the company in 2003. She has represented some of the world's largest law firms in domestic and international transactions in her 20-year career. She has concluded more than 19 million sf real estate transactions around the world, including more than $350 million in deals in the past 18 months. Williams is a member of the executive board of Cushman & Wakefield's Law Firm Advisory Group.
At Bentley Forbes, Birney will work with the company's executive committee, providing strategic legal counsel in relation to the firm's commercial real estate investments, and will also oversee all legal aspects of the firm¹s real estate and financial transactions, according to David W. Cobb, the president and CEO of Bentley Forbes. Birney joins Bentley Forbes from Allen Matkins Leck Gamble & Mallory LLP, where he served as an associate specializing in transactional real estate law. Before his tenure with Allen Matkins, Birney served in posts at Countrywide Home Loans and in its correspondent lending division.
