The décor and furnishings are described as British Classic, and units contain custom living/bedroom armoires, tables and beds; kitchen/bars with a GE cooktop, microwave oven and refrigerator; enclosed private terraces; separate soaking tubs and showers; and other amenities.

They sell for between $350,000 and $550,000. Latin Americans looking for second homes in South Florida; domestic buyers from New York, Boston and Washington DC, and local buyers make up the early sales, says Edgardo DeFortuna, Fortune's president. Buyers can occupy units, sell them or become part of Wyndham's rental program.

Located on 23 acres, the residential condo resort property also contains a 48,000-sf Golden Door spa, which is the largest spa in a Wyndham-flagged property and the first unit of Escondido, CA-based Golden Door Spa on the East Coast. The resort also contains tennis courts, four heated swimming pools and seven on-site restaurants. Two championship golf courses are adjacent to the property.

Ireland acquired the Bonaventure from Dallas-based Wyndham International last October.
