David M. Strachan was named vice chairman of Rendina. He retains his title as president of the company's western division and continues responsibility for its day-to-day operations. He is also VP of Paramount.

Daniel S. Messina, who joined Rendina as COO last year, was named president. He will be responsible for all national corporate operations, asset management and strategic planning while also leading new business development, marketing, and leasing activities for the eastern region. In addition, he will oversee strategic matters effecting Paramount. Prior to joining Rendina, he was a partner and EVP of Health Advocate and has held top posts at Magellan Health, Aetna Healthcare and Cigna.

In addition, Gregory M. Fay left Innkeepers USA Trust to become Rendina's CFO where he will be responsible for corporate financial accounting and reporting, corporate treasury and finance. He was EVP and chief accounting and administrative officer of Innkeepers, and, prior to that, he was an audit senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

In another move, former CFO David Carrillo replaced Messina as COO, responsible for finance, asset management, human resources and information technology. He joined Rendina as SVP and CFO in 2002. Before that he was an audit senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

John D. Evans, who joined Rendina as SVP of asset management last year, was named COO of Paramount where he will be responsible for all property management activities, leasing activities and lease administration. He reports to Mike Noto, Paramount's president.

Rendina is a full-service medical real estate development company that provides financing options and complete medical building development programs for healthcare providers. It also has an office in La Jolla, CA. Paramount, Rendina's property management subsidiary, provides management services to hospitals, physician management companies and institutional investors.
