Schletty serves on the company's board of directors and will work in the company's Minneapolis headquarters. A St. Paul native, Schletty began his Kraus-Anderson career in 1958 as a project estimator. In 1969 he was selected as the on-site project manager for Control Data's new world headquarters in Bloomington. The project's success helped solidify Kraus-Anderson's St. Paul operations as well as Schletty's expanding role in the company, according to the company.
As well as serving as the head of the St. Paul division of Kraus-Anderson, Schletty has also been an active member of the Association of General Contractors and a board member of the St. Paul Builder's Exchange. He serves on the board of directors of the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce and Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul, and was a trustee of St. James Lutheran Church. Schletty resides in Inver Grove Heights.
Kraus-Anderson Construction is based in Minneapolis and has regional offices in Madison, WI; Kansas City, KS; Naples, FL.; and Phoenix.
