Chemical Firm Signs 35,000-SF Deal in Ardsley

Supresta, which generated $250 million in revenues when part of Akzo Nobel, signed a long-term lease with building owner Millsaw Realty, LP. The company's space will consist of a single office floor at 420 Saw Mill River Rd. and a single laboratory floor at 430 Saw Mill River Rd. The multi-building office park is comprised of more than 450,000 sf of laboratory and office space. Supresta will relocate a total of approximately 50 employees from Chicago and from its former parent company's operations in Dobbs Ferry, knowledgeable sources indicate.Maureen O'Boyle, senior director of Cushman & Wakefield, represented Supresta in the transaction negotiations. Supresta develops, manufactures and markets flame retardants used in engineered resins, plastics, urethane foams, oil additives, fluids and turbine oils. The company runs plants in Gallipolis Ferry, WV, as well as Bitterfeld, Germany.
