Rick Rakow, president of Rakow Commercial Realty Group of White Plains, says that illycafe north america has finalized the deal with RPW Group, the owner of the 625,000-sf complex. The lease was for approximately 13,000 sf. Rakow, along with Paul Haight-Moulins of Rakow Commercial Realty, represented illycafe.

Rakow adds that illycafe is scheduled to relocate to the site by this April. The firm's lease at 200 Clearbrook Rd. in Elmsford expires in May, he says. illycafe had housed its North American headquarters at the Elmsford building for the past seven years. The parent company of illycafe is based in Trieste, Italy and produces coffee that is available in more than 40,000 restaurants worldwide.

RPW Group in December signed the first tenant at the former Altria complex, the Triarc Cos. Inc. to a 53,000-sf lease. Robert Weisz, a principal of RPW Group, says that his firm is in negotiations with prospective tenants for about half of the complex (or more than 300,000 sf). GlobeSt.com previously reported that Regional News Network, a local cable news television station, is considering leasing space at the Rye Brook property. At deadline, no deal with RNN had been reported by the cable news station or the building owner.
