This is Centex's third expansion in the building where it already occupies 20,729 sf. Centex is one of the largest residential homebuilders in the country. An affiliate of Dallas-based Centex Corp., it operates in 90 markets in 26 states.
Wachovia Securities is a division of Wachovia Bank. It will use the new space to consolidate operations currently located in two separate Collier County properties.
Bob Travis, senior commercial associate with Miami Beach-based Terranova Corp., represented the owner in both transactions. Wachovia Financial Center is part of the Pelican Bay Executive Center, a class A office complex at 5801 and 5811 Pelican Bay Blvd.
