In the past 10 years, various unsuccessful development proposals have been made for up to one million sf of office and warehouse space at land touching Interstate 575 and Sixes Road here. Now Atlanta-based MBC Partners and Centerpoint Development plan separate projects for the site.
MBC Partners plans apartments and townhomes on 38 acres, with up to 10 units per acre. Centerpoint envisions 423,000 sf of retail on 65 acres. The intersection is between Woodstock and Canton, two areas local developers already have discovered for new projects.
The Holly Springs City Council is reviewing the separate rezoning requests by Centerpoint Development and MBC Partners.
