The new Artistica building is under construction and the company expects to move in when the building is completed in the spring. The Olivas Business Center is under development near the Buenaventura Golf Course at Olivas Park Drive and Golf Course Road. Artistica is a leading manufacturer of hand-crafted home furnishings.

The Artistica transaction was one of two industrial relocations in Ventura County recently that included a Camarillo lease signed by the 7Up/RC Bottling Co. of Southern California. The bottling company will relocate its Ventura County beverage distribution operations from Oxnard to an entire 41,736-sf industrial building at 166 N. Aviador St., adjacent to the Camarillo Airport. The tenant signed a five-year agreement for the space, which is in a single-story concrete tilt up building that was built in 1976 and was recently refurbished by the current owner, a local investor operating as 166 Aviador LLC. David Hess and Ray Howden of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant, with the landlord represented by Mitch Conlee and George Eales of GVA Daum.

In a third relocation, the Dal-Tile Corp. signed a 10-year, $2.5 million deal for 26,814 sf at 3550 Tyburn St. in Los Angeles in the Glendale Gateway Center. The tenant was represented by David Young of NAI Capital and will occupy a portion of a larger industrial building within the business park for the warehousing and distribution of tile and related products. The building is owned by San Fernando Road Holdings LLC, which was represented by Barbara Emmons and Greg Geraci of CB Richard Ellis.
