Strader, who is president of Irvine-based Starpointe Ventures, is a 15-year veteran to the real estate industry and seven-year NAIOP SoCal Board Member. He is a developer and consultant who has obtained entitlements for projects such as The Plaza-Irvine high-rise luxury condominiums on the Jamboree Corridor and the mixed-use Central Park project on the 42-acre former Parker Hannifin site in Irvine. He is supervising several additional residential re-zoning projects in the Irvine Business Complex. Strader succeeds outgoing 2004 NAIOP SoCal President Larry Harmsen.
At Oakmont Industrial Group, Johnson joins the firm as VP of development with responsibility for the firm's construction and development projects in Southern California, reporting to Tim Howard, EVP. Johnson has more than 18 years in the real estate development and construction industry in California. Before joining Oakmont, he was a development manager for Panattoni Development in the Inland Empire/West office. Richard Rider, Oakmont's president, says that the appointment of Johnson is part of "the continued expansion of our SoCal industrial platform" for Atlanta-based Oakmont.
At Western National, Gilly will serve a president of Western National Contractors and Andranian will be director of land acquisitions for the Inland Empire and San Diego counties.Gilly most recently was an SVP of construction for Texas-based Embrey, a multifamily construction, management and development company. A veteran of more than 20 years in the industry, he is rejoining Western National, having previously served as VP of construction in the early 1990's.
Andranian previously was with Burnham Real Estate for five years, where he assisted in establishing its north county industrial division, handling leasing and sales transactions inexcess of $40 million. Western National Group is a 40-year-old fully integrated multifamily development, construction and property management firm that manages more than 23,000 units and is the second largest owner of multifamily housing in Orange County.
At CB Richard Ellis, Moore has been named managing director of the firm's Anaheim office, where he will manage half of the Orange County operations, which is one of the top producing offices for the company. The role of Katz has been expanded to include both brokerage and asset services for the Orange County region, which includes the Anaheim and Newport Beach offices. Moore is an 18-year CBRE veteran who also assumes the leadership role for retail in the Orange County region. Katz, in his new role, is responsible for the office specialty group in the Orange County region. A 20-year veteran of the industry, he will also continue his regional role as managing director for asset services.
