IKON's executive team, represented by Thomas Sutherland in CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Dallas office, signed a five-year lease for 7,728 sf on the 20th floor of the 36-story, 721,000-sf Harwood Center at 1999 Bryan St., Scott McGarity, vice president for the locally based Taylor & Mathis Inc., tells GlobeSt.com. He says IKON is shaving about 3,500 sf from the regional office, but gaining efficiency due to the buildings' differences in floor plates and technology changes.
IKON, headquartered in Malvern, PA, will exit 1200 Main just a few months before its five-year lease expires, according to McGarity, who teamed with Taylor & Mathis associate Mark Boynton to broker terms for structure's owner of record, a partnership based in nearby Frisco. The new deal takes Harwood Center to 77% occupancy. Its quoted rent is $16 per sf to $17 per sf plus electric.
