Located off I-83 on an 18-acre parcel that was formerly home to the Poole & Hunt machine manufacturing and foundry plant, Clipper Mill is a redevelopment effort that has refurbished and replaced buildings dating back to the mid 1950s with structures that will ultimately encompass 235 residential units, 51,000 sf of art studio space, and the aforementioned 39,000 sf of commercial office space.

"The office space has been designed to attract smaller-sized professional services companies that are looking for a unique environment to conduct their business," SBE&R development director Tim Pula says. "When you consider how many of your waking hours that you spend each week at work, it becomes increasingly important to spend time in an exciting and stimulating setting."
