The 285 Riverside Ave. building, which totals 54,000 sf, was originally a tannery in the 1800s and redeveloped into the headquarters for Marketing Corp. of America in the early 1980s. Gregory V. Frisoli, director, Cushman & Wakefield of Connecticut, represented the building ownership, Riverside Investors LLC. Steve Crowley of SCA Commercial Real Estate represented Roger Ferris + Partners.
Crowley says that the Roger Ferris + Partners decided to make the move in order to have its operations based in one central Westport location. C&W serves as exclusive leasing agent to Riverside Investors, a joint venture of Lexham Private Investors of Stamford and Normandy Partners of Morristown, NJ, for 285 Riverside Ave. and the Riverside Buildings, which are comprised of five freestanding, two-story 10,000-sf buildings.
