Morse comes to Noble from Arlington, VA-based Interstate Hotels & Resorts where he was chief operating officer. At Noble, Morse already has a full plate. The company has started development on $200 million of new hospitality projects.
Morse has "a proven track record of success to oversee the accretive operations of our growing portfolio of hotels,, convention centers, resorts, championship golf courses, spas and dining operations," says Noble Investment Group president and CEO Mit Shah.
Although his work at Interstate was gratifying, Morse says he made the career move at this time because "Noble allows me the opportunity to be more hands-on and to participate as a principal in the company's future growth."
Morse is a former president of the franchise division for ITT Sheraton Corp., and president-North America and executive director of London-based Millennium and Copthrone Hotels PLC. He received a bachelor's degree in hotel, restaurant and travel administration from the University of Massachusetts where he is a board member of the school's restaurant and travel administration department.
