Pyramid reports that a $10-million renovation of the Doubletree Hotel-Tarrytown will begin this summer. Company officials note that the capital project will include a "total makeover" of all guest rooms, function space and public spaces, including the hotel's restaurant and lounge.

"With more than 10 years of diverse hospitality management experience, Cyrus Di Tommaso is uniquely qualified to serve as general manager of the new Doubletree Tarrytown," says Pyramid COO Jim Dina. "We believe the combination of our new leadership, the $10-million renovation and the Doubletree brand will prove to be a winning combination for the hotel, local businesses and the community."

The Doubletree Hotel-Tarrytown currently features a business center, a three-meal casual restaurant and separate sports bar, lounge meeting space, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, whirlpool/sauna, two tennis courts and more than 16,000 sf of meeting space, including a 4,000-sf Grande Ballroom and the 3,250-sf Hendrick Hudson complex.
