ORLANDO-The Southeast region of Trammell Crow Co. has promoted John M. Crossman, senior vice president, retail investment services, to principal and director of retail investment services. Over the past four years, his Southeast team closed $1 billion in dispositions totaling 11.5 million sf throughout Florida and the Southeast, says Paul Ellis, a Crow principal and North Florida area director.

Ellis calls the achievements by Crossman and his team over the last seven years "remarkable." Prior to joining the retail investment team, Crossman helped lead Crow's Florida Project Leasing Division, completing 300 transactions totaling one million sf.

A recognized authority on Florida's capital markets, Crossman also serves as the co-chair for the International Council of Shopping Centers/National Capital Markets Committee and its Alliance Program. He was named top retail investment sales broker last year by the Certified Commercial Investment Member Central Florida District. Crossman also has been awarded Crow's RISE award that stands for respect, integrity, service and excellence.

The Florida State University graduate is a past president of the Central Florida Commercial Real Estate Society and a member of the University Club board of directors and the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School mentor program.
