Kuhn formerly was a senior manager at Santa Monica-based Macerich, which he joined in 2003. Since then he has helped to guide the completion of the first phase of the expansion of Washington Square mall in Portland, OR and has led the REIT's efforts with the City of Fresno to expand Fresno Fashion Fair. His current responsibilities also include new development opportunities at the company's Vintage Faire Mall in Modesto and its Northridge Mall in Salinas. Before joining Macerich, Kuhn spent 17 years with Trizec Hahn Development, overseeing design and construction of numerous properties.

Rhone, who will focus on acquisitions and existing investments at Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds, represents an expansion of acquisition activities at Canyon-Johnson, where he will be responsible for identifying and overseeing new acquisition opportunities as well as providing oversight of existing investments. He formerly was a VP with Morgan Stanley Real Estate, where he executed transactions for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds and the funds' investment banking division. Before that, he was an associate with Tishman Realty Corp., where he oversaw developments and underwrote investments in the hospitality industry. The Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds invest in the development, redevelopment, acquisition and repositioning of urban real estate and the origination of mortgages secured by urban real estate.

Hess will focus on institutional and tenant representation, industrial brokerage services and dispositions in the Commerce and Vernon markets for Trammell Crow. A former director of industrial sales for Cushman & Wakefield, he has more than 20 years of experience in the region in industrial sales and acquisitions, financial analysis and lease negotiations.
