The owner was represented in-house by Ira Bloom, director of commercial real estate, and by Chris Tichio and Dennis Gralla of Alexander Summer Realty, Paramus, NJ. Peter Hamburger and Andrew Tarvin of Cushman & Wakefield of NJ, represented the tenant. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
"The fact that the location is directly across from Vyteris' R&D and headquarters facility greatly added to its desirability," Bloom says. "The fact that it is a flex building also enables Vyteris to build out their offices to accommodate administrative staff."
Other current tenants in the building include U.S. Technologies, a maker of computer circuit boards; Semprit, a manufacturer of handrails for escalators and moving walkways; and Kyodo, a shipping and trading company. The asset has about 30,000 sf that will soon become available, according to Bloom. Formerly a privately owned company, Vyteris was acquired by the Salt Lake City-based Treasure Mountain Holdings this past fall, and operates as a wholly owned subsidiary.
