Michael Guterman in the Los Angeles office of Buchanan Street reports that both loans were provided by an institutional lender and both featured fixed five-year interest rates locked in at a 3.65% treasury rate. He says that, based on the strength of Empire Commercial's balance sheet and reputation, Buchanan Street Partners obtained maximum loan proceeds with a couple years of interest-only payments.The Village at Eagle Glen is at the I-15 Freeway and Cajalco Road. Anchored by a 43,235-sf Stater Bros. Superstore, it features a mix of restaurants, retail shops and services that include national, regional and local firms. Lakeside Plaza is at Laselle Street and Iris Avenue and is anchored by a 44,000-sf Stater Bros Superstore.
