DAVIE, FL-Crispers LLC, a Fort Lauderdale-based restaurant chain, inked a 10-year lease for 5,625 sf at Lakeside Town Shops. This takes preleasing of the 69,275-sf in-line section of the center currently under development by Stiles Retail Group to 60%. A Stiles spokesperson tells GlobeSt.com the triple-net rental range for in-line space is between $28 per sf and $30 per sf.

In-house leasing agent, Ryan Karlin, represented the owner in the Crispers transaction. This is Crispers' first restaurant in Broward County. The company is majority owned by Publix Supermarkets and currently operates at 26 Florida locations. Other in-line tenants that have signed leases at the center are Office Max, Payless Shoes, Haircuttery, T-Mobile, Quiznos and EB Games.

In addition to in-line retail, Lakeside Town Shops will be anchored by a 185,000-sf Target superstore, and it has nearly 4.9 acres allotted for five outparcel users. The community shopping center is under construction at the northeast corner of Stirling Road and University Drive here.

Lakeside is scheduled to open this fall, according to Robert Breslau, president of Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles Corp.'s retail division. Stiles' divisions are providing design, development, construction and leasing of the center.
