The complex is being built by JG Petrucci & Co. of Asbury, NJ. The architect of the Palladian-design is the Hillsborough, NJ-based Cerminara Architects, while the interior is being done by Melissa Brown and Berzak Gold PC, both of New York City.

Located at 333 Davidson Ave. hear I-287, the facility is targeting everything from conferences of up to 700 people, to training events and smaller conferences, to weddings, according to Kaaren Hamilton, the director of sales. Features include a 9,000-sf kitchen, as well as 7,500 sf of dedicated space that corporations can contract for permanent meeting space.

"We are seeing a clear trend away from self-operated conference centers," Hamilton says, noting that such local companies as Merck, Merrill Lynch, Lucent and AT&T have closed their conference centers.
