The Woodbridge, NJ-based developer is ready to start site work for Bear's Cove, a community with a total of 104 for-sale townhomes, according to Steven Fisch, a partner of the firm. Actual construction is expected to begin shortly. "With the number of active adult communities in Northern New Jersey dwindling over the past several years, we felt that the time was right to introduce this project," Fisch says.
The project is one of several that Continental is currently developing in the Garden State, most of them of the active adult variety. They include Cedar Village at Ocean in Ocean Twp.; the 328-home Rolling Meadows at Wayside, also in Ocean Twp.; and Cedar Village, a 184-condo project in East Brunswick. Among the company's rental projects are the 427-unit Woodbridge Hills in Woodbridge, and the 146-unit Enclave at Livingston County Club in Livingston.
