Cushman & Wakefield's Paul Kauffman, executive director, and Stephen Baker, senior director, represented the building ownership. The brokerage firm was selected last fall to serve as exclusive leasing agent to the a 137,000-sf, two-building office complex owned by an affiliate of Berwind Property Group Ltd.
Wilton Re was represented by David White of DH White Real Estate. The reinsurance firm plans to move into the space at the end of April and will employ approximately 40 people at its new headquarters, according to Cushman & Wakefield officials.
The Wilton Re group management team is led by Chris C. Stroup, who is chairman of Wilton Re Holdings Limited and its US subsidiaries, and John E. Tiller, chief executive officer of Wilton Re US Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Previously, Stroup served as chief executive officer of Swiss Re Life & Health North America. Tiller previously headed ERC Life Re.
"It is centrally located for our employees, and the town of Wilton is a perfect setting for us to focus on our business rather than the usual hassles associated with the daily commute to larger cities," Stroup says. Wilton Re will join Beiersdorf, AG Edwards and Bank of America at the Wilton Corporate Centre.
