The sale of 2827 E. 77th Pl. was recently endorsed by the plan commission. Regan Heating and Mechanical will build a project costing slightly less than $1 million on the site, which increasingly is surrounded by other multifamily developments and condominium conversion projects. Among them is a three-flat at 74th Street and Yates Avenue that Regan Heating and Mechanical recently rehabbed, as well as a five-story multifamily building at 77th Street and Exchange Avenue for senior citizens.
The city acquired the property through its tax reactivation program.
