At BofA, Patterson was responsible for the bank's US-based real estate transactions within a portfolio of more than 7,000 properties aggregating approximately 80 million sf. He has more than 20 years of experience in the development, leasing and management of high-rise office buildings.

Nicholas S. Schorsch, AFR's president and CEO, says in a statement, "The addition of (Patterson's) extensive knowledge and relationships in both real estate and banking will further expand our network within our core tenant base." AFR specializes in acquiring properties from and leasing them to regulated financial institutions. It owns and manages its assets primarily under long-term triple-net and bond net leases with banks. BofA is among its major US clients.
