InfoNXX Inc., which serves as a third-party customer service provider, has been a tenant in the 59,000-sf building at 7810 E. Escalante Rd. since 1998, according to Robin Lamont, a marketing specialist for CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Tucson office. She and senior vice president William DiVito brokered the transaction.
Lamont tells GlobeSt.com that InfoNXX's lease expires in June 2005. "They have expanded in the building before, but there's no room left for expansion," she says. The remaining space in the 1990s-era building is occupied by Bloomington, IL-based collections firm Anderson Financial Network Inc.
According to CB Richard Ellis, the city's eastern sector had a vacancy rate of nearly 16% and posted 19,955 sf of negative absorption in the fourth quarter 2004. Rental rates for class B office space range from $17 per sf to $20 per sf.
