The World Trade Center in Dallas cornered the award for the best renovation in the Southwest while 1001 McKinney in Houston picked up the best historical building honor. The annual conference attracted more than 300 real estate professionals from Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas for four days of networking and seminars in this year's host city, Fort Worth.
The low-rise suburban office park winner is Americredit Operations Center in Arlington. The mid-rise category honor went to the Arboretum Plaza I and II in Austin.
The Round Rock area near Austin picked up two TOBY winners: 301 Sundance Parkway for best corporate facility and Crystal Park Plaza for the under 100,000-sf office building. Plaza on the Lake in Austin pocketed the 100,000-sf to 249,999-sf office building award. The 250,000-sf to 499,999-sf winner is Hibernia Bank Plaza in Houston. Millennium Center in Dallas won the 500,000-sf to one-million-sf competition while the Towers at Williams Square in Irving snagged the one-million-sf-plus trophy. The member of the year honor went to Tomi Sue Beecham with AVR Realty Co. in San Antonio.
