Crate & Barrell was represented by Cushman & Wakefield's Robin Dodson, John Minervini, Erik Larson and Chris Tolles in the firm's Los Angeles office as well as Jules Nissim and Stan Danzig in New Jersey. Dodson reports that the tenant chose the facility for its central location and easy access for customers who prefer to pick up their own merchandise. The new Crate & Barrel's warehouse space is part of a 276,000-sf industrial facility at 780 Nogales Street. Built in 1974, the building is owned by restaurant supplies manufacturer Tarhong Manufacturing, Thunder Group Inc., which utilizes the remaining space for its warehouse and distribution center. The building owner was represented by Michael Brent and Kevin Krasne of Lee & Associates.
In an industrial deal in Irwindale, Charles Dunn Co. reports that iHerb Inc., a marketer of nutritional supplements, signed a five-year lease for 47,286 sf at 5012 4th St. The tenant was represented by Robert Stover Charles Dunn's downtown Los Angeles office, with the landlord, Yus Properties Corp., represented by Shan Lee of GVA Daum's Industry office. The lease is the result of rapid growth since iHerb's founding in 1997, Stover says. The building will accommodate iHerb's corporate headquarters as well as its warehouse.
