COLUMBIA, MD-A joint venture involving Rosenthal Properties LLC and ASB Capital Management Inc. has acquired the 63,500-sf Havertys/Offenbacher Building retail property for $12 million, or $189 per sf. The 23-year-old freestanding structure carries the address of of 6475 Dobbin Rd. and is within the 300,000-sf Dobbin Center.
Transwestern Commercial Services orchestrated the disposition on behalf of Lepercq Corporate Income Fund LP. The Transwestern team included Andy Stape, Bob Filley, Joe Friedman and Wes Scott of the real estate services firm's asset investment sales group, as well as Howard Evoy.
The site is fully leased to the companies for which it is currently named. Haverty's Furniture Co. committed to 46,700 sf in 2003 under a 20-year lease, while patio and casual furniture company Offenbacher signed on for 16,800 sf under a 10-year lease in the same year.
