DK Haney Construction Co. is taking over 3425 E. Vickery Blvd., owned by Jaime Garcia, a private investor from Fort Worth. The inbound tenant ended a two-month search for dealmakers like the option to buy, the size of the warehouse and its condition, George White with Henry S. Miller Commercial tells GlobeSt.com. The building also contains 3,000 sf of office space for the firm's corporate team. Comparable space is on the market for $3.50 per sf.
White says the contractor, who regularly gets school district contracts, needed a more centralized location in the city and more space than it had available in the 5,000-sf structure at 5930 Plum St. in Watauga, about 12 miles north of the relocation address. He says the roofer, who also has a office in Pensacola, FL, is moving in conjunction with the expiration of a five-year lease. The move will be completed by May 1.
Chris Delzell with Henry S. Miller Commercial and White partnered as tenant representatives. James Blake of Sperry Van Ness packaged the deal for Garcia.
