The Fairways will be a gated development that will consist of 51 detached single-family houses, 34 duplex units, 108 townhomes and 24 condominiums, eight of which are handicap accessible. The assortment of home styles will range from two to four bedrooms and from 1,267 sf to 3,023 sf. Sales are scheduled to begin later this spring and initial occupancy is expected by this fall. Ginsburg officials say prices for the units will run between the mid $200,000 to the low $500,000 range. The development is expected to be completed by 2007.
The development, located on 62 acres on Golf Links Road, will also feature a 4,000-sf clubhouse that will include a cyber café, fitness center, social room, game room with bar and a conference room. The clubhouse area will also have an in-ground and tot swimming pool and practice putting green.
GDC has dedicated a 4.14-acre parcel of land to the Town of Wallkill for open space and town well protection. Company officials say the firm will ensure that approximately 15 acres of the site's 62 acres remain open space.
