"This position will allow me to use my experience to contribute to Inland's continuing success," says O'Hanlon, a 30-year real estate veteran who also has held senior positions with Cushman & Wakefield and Balcor.

Although the majority is located in Illinois, the Inland portfolio includes about 140 assets in eight states. Most of the properties are neighborhood shopping centers. In addition to being a member of the Urban Land Institute, O'Hanlon also is active in the International Council of Shopping Centers.
