Pacific Group has also purchased 7.5 acres adjacent to West Village where another 20 condos and 85,000 sf of additional retail will be developed at a later date, according to preliminary plans filed with Cobb County officials. The Atlanta Regional Commission and the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority approved the project last year.
Condo units will be priced from $200,000, townhomes from $400,000 and detached homes from $600,000. The developer also plans to donate about 9,000 sf for a county community center or public library. Based on future demand, Pacific Group plans to develop an additional 400 condos in eight-story buildings.
