Slated to open in the fall of 2007, the theater is being developed by Dranoff Properties, a local company that specializes in large scale urban redevelopment and the adaptive reuse of historic structure. Dranoff also is developing the $126-million Symphony House, a condominium project that broke ground earlier this month.
That project, located on the Avenue of the Arts, includes the construction of a 31-story tower that will house 163 upscale condos along with the 35,000 sf theater company building, which will feature street level shops and restaurants. Condominiums at Symphony House is scheduled to be completed in 2007. The upscale complex will feature a glass enclosed 60-foot lap pool, hot tub, two sauna rooms, showers and steam and massage rooms along with three dining rooms that can be reserved for private use.
