John Hennessey, with GVA Thompson Doyle Hennessey & Stevens, tells GlobeSt.com that the expansion was driven by Arnold Worldwide's recent acquisition of a $300 million advertising contract with Radio Shack. "That is driving the expansion," says Hennessey, who represented the tenant in lease negotiations with Boston Properties, which owns and manages the 52- story mixed use tower on Boyleston Street and was self represented. Arnold Worldwide will take space at 101 Huntington Avenue, an adjoining 26-story building that is part of the Prudential Center complex, Hennessey says. Terms of the lease arrangement were not disclosed.

The advertising firm does $6 billion in billings and has clients such as Fidelity Investments, Pfizer Inc., MTV, Volkswagen, Procter & Gamble, McDonald's, Monster.com, Lufthansa, and L'Oreal. The company currently occupies the top 10 floors of the Huntington Avenue building, one of 11 buildings that make up the Prudential complex, and may add another 23,000 sf in leased space this summer, Hennessey says.
