Terms of the lease are undisclosed. On condition of anonymity, a Dade County office broker tells GlobeSt.com the property in the Airport West submarket would probably command a rate of about $21 per sf, full service.

Sandra E. Andersen, SVP and national director in the Fort Lauderdale office of Jones Lang LaSalle, represented the building owner, Chicago-based Florida Office Property Co., in the transaction. JLL leases and manages the property. With offices in Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Naples and Fort Lauderdale as well as Miami, FOPC is among the largest owners of office space in Florida.

Andersen describes the building as "class B+," and says, "Amadeus had a lot of options, including a build-to-suit opportunity. It also could have moved to Broward County." She says this lease "is certainly among the largest, if not the largest in Dade this year, or for several years." Tom Capocefalo, managing director of the Studley office in Fort Lauderdale, who represented Amadeus in the transaction, could not be reached by deadline.
