Earlier this spring, Deloitte & Touche had declined to stand for re-election as the company's independent public accounting firm. Deloitte & Touche will continue to provide tax services to Ramco.

"We are pleased to introduce Grant Thornton as our new auditors and believe they will provide excellent service and value to our company," says Dennis Gershenson, president & CEO. "We appreciate Deloitte & Touche's dedication over the years and will work with them closely to ensure a smooth transition for our shareholders."

Ramco, a publicly traded REIT that owns 80 shopping centers, has delayed reporting its first quarter earnings pending the naming of a new auditor. The company did not say when it now expects to announce those earnings. The company had originally been expected to announce earnings on April 22.
