The two six-story office towers are nearly identical in size and total 210,838 sf. KBS has owned the two office towers since 1999, and the average occupancy for the two buildings is currently 94%. The State of Colorado deal runs for seven years, starting on July 1; the Wells Fargo five-year lease kicks in Oct. 1.
Mark Brecheen, senior vice president for KBS, says the company has had a great relationship with the two tenants and is pleased to continue to provide them with space. Kevin McKinnon and Jonathan Jones of Transwestern Commercial Services were the brokers representing KBS. Bernie Martin with Corporate Planners and Coordinators represented the state and Jamie Gard with the Frederick Ross Co. represented Wells Fargo.
