GlobeRanger Corp., a provider of RFID and mobility software technology, is downsizing about 5,000 sf with the relocation to 1130 Arapaho Rd. from 1301 E. Collins Blvd., Clay Vaughn with Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. tells GlobeSt.com. The just-signed pact keeps employees in the same submarket and includes covered parking and a building sign. "It's a vacant building so the economics we were able to achieve on the deal is a win-win for the client," he says. GlobeRanger execs initially focused on as-is space and then almost renewed at the Collins Boulevard address they their turning attention to the Arapaho Road building, he says.
GlobeRanger took the top floor in the six-story, 115,777-sf building. "The space was in shell condition," Vaughn says, "and it's going to be finished out beautifully with a high-tech touch."
Besides Vaughn, the C&W team included William McClung, Michael Wyatt and Sheila Bellinger. Paul Moser with Stream Realty Partners LP in Dallas represented the building owner, Pearson Fund III LP of Austin.
