Wallace notes that the Palacio features cast stone ornamentation, double height doors, sculptured columns, decorative metal work and many other original architectural features. It consists of one studio unit, 14 one-bedroom, one-bathroom units; two two-bedroom, one-and-a-half bathroom units; and one two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit with rents ranging from $572 to $3,300. The Lotus consists of one studio unit and 13 one-bedroom, one-bathroom units with rents ranging from $712 to $2,500. The Lotus features numerous original design elements including metal cresting, decorative banding, false beams, wood window grilles and wood-framed large picture windows with arched headers and square panes and antique lanterns. In addition to their design, Wallace points out, the properties benefit from their location in "a highly desirable residential section" of West Hollywood.
