PEMBROKE, MA-Trammell Crow Residential has broken ground on a 240-unit apartment community here. It will be the third Massachusetts complex developed by Trammell Crow Residential under its Alexan brand.
Tim O'Connor, managing director of Trammell Crow Residential's New England office, tells GlobeSt.com that the complex, located off Route 3 on Pembroke Woods Drive, is expected to be completed within 20 months but leasing on the one and two bedroom units will begin long before the property is actually open to residents.Market rate rents will range from $1,400 to $1,900 per month with 25% of the units set aside as affordable housing. Monthly rents for the affordable units will range from $959 to $1,070.
The 10-building property will hold true to the Alexan brand with amenities that include a clubhouse, pool and detached garages. Trammell Crow Residential currently operates two other Alexan communities in Massachusetts, Park Lane Seaport at 1 Park Lane in Boston and Dexter Park at 174 Freeman St. in Brookline.
