John Conger, president of the locally based Wilcox Realty Group, becomes managing partner of GVA Cawley Realty Services. But, he tells GlobeSt.com, that the intent is to be branded as one operation. He says the leasing and management business was to be included in the change, but there's been a six-month lag on making it happen. "That was the intent from Day 1," he says. "We're just finalizing it."
At this stage, Wilcox Development Co. and Wilcox Capital remain as-is. Conger says effectively all that's changing for his 30-employee, six-broker operation is the name and his title. "We hope that nothing changes except that we get a bigger platform for national exposure," he says. GVA Cawley, with a 4.5-million-sf office management portfolio in Dallas/Fort Worth, represents GVA Worldwide in all Texas markets.
