The five-story building is located adjacent to the company's headquarters where it maintains more than 500,000 sf, an insider familiar with the deal tells GlobeSt.com. Terms of the deal were unavailable, but class A office property in the Natick area generally rents in the low to mid-$20 per-sf range.
The brick-and-glass property, which Boston Scientific has occupied for the last three years is about 98 % occupied by several smaller tenants including Commercial Wire. Boston Scientific was represented by Joe Fallon and Sue Donovan, both with Trammell Crow Co.'s Boston office. Garry Holmes, president of RW Holmes, represented the owner, LMF Cochituate Place LLC.
