NORTH BERGEN, NJ-The Chamberlain Group Inc., an Elmhurst, IL-based manufacturer of residential and commercial door openers, has signed a lease for the full 50,344-sf building at 1801 Tonnelle Ave. here. The company will use the facility for warehouse and distribution purposes, according to Dennis Gralla of Cresa Partners.

Gralla and Cresa colleague James J. Scancarella teamed with Reed Partners of Chicago to represent the tenant. Cresa has its main New Jersey office in Paramus. Building owner Hartz Mountain Industries of Secaucus, NJ was represented in-house. Terms of the signing were not disclosed, but the rental for the availability was listed on Hartz's website as "on request" with a minimum term of five years.

"The strategic location provides excellent access to the entire tri-state area," Scancarella says. The building is a freestanding W/D facility located near the New Jersey Turnpike and New York City, and within an urban enterprise zone. Its layout includes some 5,500 sf of office space and a 650-sf retail space.
