CINNAMINSON, NJ-EMSL Analytical, an environmental testing firm, has acquired the 107,267-sf office/warehouse building on 9.5 acres at 200 South Rte. 130 here. The company plans to move its headquarters here from its current location in Westmont, NJ.
EMSL was represented in the transaction by Colliers Lanard & Axilbund, a Philadelphia-based firm that has its New Jersey offices in Cherry Hill. The seller of the vacant building was Johnson Family Real Estate Associates LP, represented by NAI Mertz Corp. of Mt. Laurel, NJ.
The buyer operates a national network of labs that offer a range of services supporting investigations in asbestos, microbiology, lead, chemistry, indoor air quality and industrial hygiene. Preceding its relocation, EMSL will launch a major renovation of the facility, including both exterior and interior upgrades, landscaping and signage. Originally an industrial building, 200 Rte. 130 has 83,000 sf of its space on two floors built out as offices. The remainder is warehousing and storage space with ceiling heights to 27 ft.
