NORWOOD, MA-Two firms have signed deals totaling 122,000 sf at a warehouse here, leaving just 24,000 sf of the building vacant. "Leasing 122,000 sf in this market right now is somewhat noteworthy," David Corkery, with CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners, tells GlobeSt.com, noting that industrial leases in the Boston area remain flat.

Corporate Interiors, a Newton, MA- based office environment developer, will move into the 350,000-sf warehouse and distribution facility this month under a 10-year, 60,000 sf lease arrangement with owner Atlantic Management Corp., of Framingham. An existing tenant, PODS Inc., a Clearwater, FL-based provider of mobile storage and moving solutions, signed a long-term extension on 62,000 sf at the building.

Both transactions were negotiated for the owner by Corkery along with Steve Clancy and Jim Nicoletti, also with CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners. The Corporate Interiors lease was arranged by Jack Kerrigan and Patrick Carey of Grubb & Ellis while Bob Gibson and Ed Jarosz, also with CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners, represented PODS.
