Funding for the acquisition came from proceeds from Washington, DC-based Columbia's recent IPO. As per Loudoun County records, the property has a current assessed value of $15.1 million.
The four-story property is fully occupied by America Online Inc. under a seven-year lease that began late last year. The Internet company leases other space in the park, which is a few miles from its 1.2-million-sf headquarters.
