"We look forward to expanding our role in this world-class business park," says Linda Aronson, TCC's vice president of property management services. Aronson is heading the assignment for TCC, which now reps almost five million sf in the Garden State.
In terms of acreage, the 300-acre NJFTZ represents about 45% of the 684-acre International Trade Center, a seven million-sf mixed-use campus. TCC got the ITC leasing and marketing exclusive just over two years ago, with the firm's Leo Paytas, senior vice president, Mitchell Katz, vice president, and Neal Heinze, senior associate, heading the assignment.
Since then, a total of almost 700,000 sf of leases have been signed, bumping the property's occupancy up past the 90% mark. Major tenants within the NJFTZ itself include BMW of North America, BASF, Rudolf Technologies, Diagnostica-Stago, L-3 Communications, Agilent Technologies, NW Instruments and Seiko. Within the larger ITC are Wyndham and Marriott hotels and the ITC Crossroads Shopping Center, a regional mall.
