Tray Ratterre of Industrial Air LP is retrofitting the 2626 Skyway Dr. building around his crew, which recently relocated from a 10,000-sf leased site in Shoreline Business Park along Mayfield Drive in Arlington, James Hazard, an associate with Henry S. Miller Commercial in Dallas, tells Globest.com. He says the air compressor business owner negotiated an early move-in to the 1970s-era building as the $710,000 deal worked its way to the finish line.
John Brewer, senior vice president with Henry S. Miller Commercial, represents the seller, Ronald Hoptonjones of Linron Properties Ltd. in Dallas, who has sold three of his four buildings in the Great Southwest Industrial District. His last GSW holding, a 63,000-sf industrial building, is expected to change hands this month, according to Hazard.
Hazard says Hoptonjones had the building on the market, but got particularly aggressive about its sale after a longtime tenant moved out. "We got a pretty good deal on it," he says about the 1.4-acre sale.
