Harvey Green, president and CEO of Marcus & Millichap, says that during the seven years that Weiss has been the regional manager of the Encino office, he has increased his office's revenues by more than 300%. As an SVP and regional manager of Marcus & Millichap's Encino office, Green says, Weiss has guided his sales team to a ranking among the top producing offices nationwide for Marcus & Millichap, including the top ranking in 2004. In 2003, he was named the firm's regional manager of the year.
Weiss began his career with Marcus & Millichap in 1989 as a sales associate in Encino, garnering numerous awards for sales achievements. He became an SVP in June 2002 after serving as a senior investment associate and a first vice president. He has been the regional manager of the office since July 1998.
Green describes Berman's Ft. Lauderdale operation as "one of the firm's top producing offices, with sales volume increasing between 30% and 40% annually." The office set a sales record in 2004 and is poised for another record-breaking year in 2005.
Berman was a regional manager of Marcus & Millichap's Ft. Lauderdale office since its opening in 1996. Green says Marcus & Millichap's success in South Florida will lead to the opening of a new office in Miami on August 1, further expanding the firm's market leadership position.
Berman joined Marcus & Millichap in 1982 as a sales associate in the Encino office, winning 11 sales achievement awards as an agent. He became an SVP in June 2002 after serving as a senior investment associate, a vice president and a first vice president. He became regional manager in 1996 to launch the firm's South Florida operation. In 2001, he was named regional manager of the year.
